The harvest and the selection of the grapes are manual. The de-stemming of the grapes and the subsequent fermentation take place slowly and at a controlled temperature, with a subsequent delicate handling of the must in stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation and aging for 7-10 months in large wooden barrels.
Dark garnet red in color, on the nose it offers a bouquet in which intense fruity notes of cranberry (marsh mortella) and morello cherry predominate, enriched by a floral scent of lilac and cooked laurel. There is also a delicate chocolate tone. On the palate it is very vinous and harmonious, with a delicate texture and refined tannins that give Lagrein a very captivating fullness, making it a very full and velvety wine.
