Lugana di Sirmione Giovanni Avanzi was born in the Lugana hamlet in the municipality of Sirmione, therefore in the heart of the area of origin. The grape harvest takes place manually, followed by cooling of the same in the cell. The pressing is soft, with cold static decantation and subsequent low temperature fermentation keeping the individual parcels distinct. After the first racking, it remains in contact for 6/8 months with the noble lees in steel tanks. Rest in the bottle for 2 months.
The color is straw yellow, the scent is fine and elegant, with notes of white flowers, peach and tropical notes. On the finish there is a delicate sensation of pastry. The flavor is strong, savory and mineral. The taste is slightly tropical and exotic. On the palate a nice and light acid note remains and very clean. Structure and complexity typical of the grape will allow an evolution over time with important notes of candied fruit and ripe fruit.
